In-line volumetric sampling valve for low-viscosity fluids

The PEVL sampling valve enables a constant volume of clear or low-viscosity liquid to be sampled automatically and sequentially from a transfer line. The PEVL is pneumatically controlled and consists of a body fitted with a sampling chamber, a sampling piston and an actuator cylinder. With each movement of the actuator cylinder, the sampling piston takes a quantity of product corresponding to the volume trapped in the calibrated neck of the piston from the transfer line. When the piston returns to its initial position, this sample is transferred to the sampling bottle through the outlet tube. The sampling chamber is cleaned simply by connecting the valve to the CIP system or by injecting a detergent / sterilising liquid.
